Family Foundations has embraced an asset-based
approach to service. We believe that assets are at the core of every
solutions, and that assets are plentiful in our community. But assets
must be recognized and resources mobilized for those assets to be effectively
used.
Every one of our services is focused on strengthening capacity – in
individuals, in families, in schools, in neighborhoods and in communities.
We don’t treat people for life – we help them find solutions
so that they can become self-sustaining.
Family Foundations believes that we can bring solutions to the challenges
of life. We create lasting change for families by connecting them to
each other, to their neighbors and to community assets and resources.
We have three major areas of service:
Family Foundations was chosen by the United Way of Northeast Florida
to provide services directly in schools on the Westside through the
Full Service School Program.
